Menéndez Pelayo Library

This space, located at calle Rubio, 6, was declared a National Artistic Monument in 1982. It houses a total of 45,000 volumes of great importance and high historic and patrimonial value.

Casa-Museo

Menéndez Pelayo House-Museum

Years after the death of Menéndez Pelayo, it was opened to the public, conserving some furnishings in their original places. It was declared a historic-artistic complex along with the Menéndez Pelayo Library.

Currently closed to the public.

Located inside the Mercado del Este, a few minutes from the Plaza Porticada.

The installations are located underneath the Plaza del Príncipe, next to the Plaza de Velarde. The shelter belongs to the Cultural Ring area.

Museo de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo de Santander

Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Santander and Cantabria (MAS)

Founded in 1908, it has become a place for meeting and exchanging ideas. Located in calle Rubio, it is currently closed for refurbishment.

Palacete del Embarcadero

You will find this on the Seafront Promenade, alongside Los Reginas. It has been used as an exhibition and conference hall since 1985.

Museo Marítimo

Cantabrian Maritime Museum - MMC

Its over 3,000 m² of exhibition space shows the marine life and the relationship of man and the sea throughout history.
