Located in the Plaza de las Estaciones, Renfe connects Santander to Palencia, Valladolid, Madrid and Alicante.

From Madrid and the central plateau, you can access the city using the A-67, via Reinosa. Whether you come from the West or the East, the best way to enter the city is using the A-8 motorway that travels along the Cantabrian Sea coastline.
